VISHWASADA MANE MENTAL REHABILITATION CENTER
Vishwasada Mane is a rehabilitation centre which is specially opened for mentally challenged people. When we started this ministry in the year of 2004, there was no place and building, and we were running in a rented house with three destitutes. As the name Vishwasada mane indicates it’s a home of hope for people who are helpless, neglected, rejected by the society and also from their own families.
After a period of time, Sunil John D’souza bought land and built a home for destitutes. Usually we pick these homeless, helpless, physically and mentally retarded people from the streets and even from garbage. We have a team of people like Doctors, Nurses and our staff members to take care of these people in terms of cleaning, giving bath and feeding food. Our doctors and nurses will give them good medication and treat them frequently.
When destitutes enter our vishwasada mane, they will be like infants and as we nurture them with love and caring and with our fervent prayers, amazingly God brings them out of all their abnormal physical and mental sickness. Once we see the developments in their lives, we give them skillful training in different areas like gardening, construction work, painting, outdoor metal works,tailoring, craft work, assisting in the kitchen, and other activities. Interestingly in addition to these things we also conduct games for these destitutes.
